A special thank you to classmates Linda Ranfone, Lyda Myronenko-Sharp, Gail Gray Sobron, Maryann Scirgova Funk, Sue Liesch Pontani, Louise Elisio Jones, Jessica Cicogna Peterson who inspired me to get this site together by their support, generosity and kindness. They know why! Our 40th reunion can only be a success with the alumni of Steinert's graduating class of 1972!

On a personal note, I did my higher education while raising my family and working through MCCC and a Rutgers program, Certified Public Manager. Transferred my work experience toward a degree in business administration.

I was first married in 1975 to Robert D. Downs, who passed in 1997. Remarried in 2000, now retired from NJDOT -- and beginning the next stage of life which consists of family, friends, retirement and taking care of Monica! Even thinking of re-entering the workforce.

Not much of a school story for me. I lost my father to a traumatic accident when I was age 15, which led me to working part time, joining the FBLA Club at school and working on the school's work program. I had many aquaintances from school and one or two close friends. Two that stand out in my mind.

My career took me to the administrative part of the medical field, the Catholic Welfare Bureau, to the State of NJ where I retired from serving as Legislative Liaison to various Commissioners, then moving on to Traffic Engineering & Safety being responsible for the Division's budget, personnel and administrative matters and acting on the Director's behalf.

Through this website and a reconnection with one classmate, my reconnection with classmates who remember me has grown. I hope to see you all at the next reunion. Stay well all!
