Tony was one of my two best friends in High School along with Phil Conti.  We continued to have fun together for several years later even though I had moved to Connecticut.  We still got together a few times a year.  Unfortunately the last time I saw Tony he was in a casket.  It was way to early.

It's impossible for me to think about my High School and College years without thinking about Tony and Phil.  My life would probably have had a much different spin without them.

Tony left us much too soon. What Gary has written here has touched me beyond descritption.  Tony and Gary were my best friends in school  Gary is correct in his description that all three of us were close, probably dependent upon one another during the time in school and shortly after.  Since then, life took us on different paths with its individual twists and turns, but my times with these two people will never be forgotten.  Both Tony and Gary were men who embraced their beliefs without apology, and that is a lesson that I carry with me to this day.  I have never forgotten nor will I ever forget.

Tony was a good friend of mine in high school, but became a great friend in the years after graduation. We were very close and created lots of memories together in those following years. As Phil said above, Tony had his own mind and values and he was unapologetic about them. We disagreed mightily over politics but never let it get between us as friends. Over the years, we drifted apart and didn't see each other as much, but that freindship and the memories we created will stay with me forever.

Back in 9th grade in the Nottingham Jr. HS lunch room, Tony pulled off one of the best practical jokes I've ever witnessed.  It's 50 years later, yet I still laugh whenever I think of it.  Creative & funny... not a bad way to be remembered, in the scheme of things, I suppose.  R.I.P., Tony!
