Roy Worth Black Sr.
 

PEMBERTON - Roy Worth Black Sr., of Pemberton, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at home. He was 58 years old.
Roy was a graduate of Steinert High School, Hamilton. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator.
He loved hunting, and fishing, and being outdoors as much as possible. He had a boat that he and his sons had rebuilt together that he was proud of. Roy took pleasure in living on a ranch, enjoyed his animals, especially his horses T.C., Crackers, Robin, Smokey and Max, and his dogs, Roscoe, Jazzamin and Littlebit.
The most important thing to him was his family, they meant everything, especially his granddaughters.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Vera Black, and his siblings, Charles, Kirk and Thomas Black.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Beth (Van'Es); children, Roy Jr. and his wife Ricki, Daniel and his wife Kelly; grandchildren, Aleece, Samantha, Melanie, and Alex; his sister, Marie Bakos and her husband Paul.
He was the uncle of Vera Leahy and her husband Jerry, Paul, and James and his wife Rose, and his special nephew, Tom.
He is also survived by his in-laws, Mike Van'Es, Paul Van'Es, Mark Van'Es, Hope Pierson, Chris Van'Es and Maggie Troffa; sister-in-law, Ruth Black; and special friends, Lorraine Cipriani and Kelly Berkowski.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
