William Todd

William E Todd II, 57, of Pennsville, NJ, passed away suddenly on July 30, 2011. William was born in Mannington Township on June 22, 1954. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1972 where he participated in Track and Field. William served the United States Navy from 1972 through 1976, followed by two years as a reservist. While on the USS Forrestal he received the National Defense Service Medal. He was employed by NPS/Impact Resource Group, The Skating Club of Wilmington, and Walmart.

William is survived by his wife Kathleen Jackson, and his children; Kieran Todd, Vincent Jackson, Caitlin Todd, Andrew Jackson, and Ciara Jackson-Todd, his brother, Roger Todd and wife Kathleen, and sister Roberta Todd-Crispin, both of Delaware. William is predeceased by both parents, William and Eleanor Todd, from Pennsville, NJ.
William loved working with wood and making things, boats and the water, car races, watching sports, and enjoyed watching his children participate in whatever their current activity would be, whether it be ice skating, sports, music, a garage band or a new pet. He truly did love making his family happy and took pride in being a good provider. There was nothing that you could ask him to do that he would refuse. He enjoyed taking care of his home and gardens and living where he could watch the sail boats and occasionally take a walk on the beach. William was a hard working great husband and father who didn’t ask for much in life. William was taken from this life too quickly and will be missed deeply. He will be fondly remembered for his quiet funny comments and tireless ability to help everyone and the many items he created.
