ROBBINSVILLE - Edward Clark Perry, 57, of Robbinsville, passed away Saturday, Mar. 17, 2012, at Hamilton Continuing Care.
Born in Ft. Dix, he was a 1972 graduate of Steinert High School and a graduate of Mercer County Community College. Ed was one of the original residents at Project Freedom in Hamilton where he lived for 21 years until moving to Hamilton Continuing Care. He was a past member of the Hamilton Theatre Group and was a cast member in "Through Our Eyes," a production at Kelsey Theatre at Mercer County College. Ed was a volunteer for many years at St. Lawrence Rehab Center, an avid Phillies, Eagles and Flyers fan and was a former sportswriter for the Trenton Times and the Trentonian.
Son of the late Charlotte S. Perry, he is survived by his father, Arthur Perry and his wife Eloise of Calabash, N.C.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Linda Perry of Southport, N.C., Roger and Lynn Perry of Trenton and Richard and Jo Marie Perry of Columbus; two stepsisters, Leslie Brady of Hamilton and JoAnn Carmichael of Hanover; a stepbrother, Lester Pullen of Chester, Md.; nieces and nephews, Christopher Perry, Todd Perry and his wife Amanda, Jennifer Perry, Pamela White, Stephanie Perry, Elizabeth, Shaun and Brian Perry, Kyle and Elise Brady, Marjorie, Ross, Rachel and Noah Carmichael, and Lauren, Quincie and Lester Pullen, as well as grandnieces and grandnephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday (Mar. 22) at the St. James Episcopal Church. The Rev. Arthur P. Powell will officiate. Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St., Allentown.
