James R. Jones III

HAMILTON - James R. Jones III of Dania, FL, formerly Groveville, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL. He was 57. His father, James R. Jones and brother, Brian Jones, predeceased him. Jim was the husband of Janet Jones and loving father of Aaron, both of Dania, FL. He is survived by his mother, Doretha Jones; sisters, Gayle Miller (Wayne), Patricia Otter (Curt) and Shawn Stout; mother-in-law, Dawn Larsen and many nieces and nephews. Jim graduated from Steinert High School of Hamilton. After visiting Florida, he loved it and decided to stay. Jim was employed by Bradford Marine for 25 years as a talented master carpenter on yachts. Jim loved the beach and collecting seashells. Jim lived life to the fullest and had an easy demeanor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be at the convenience of the family in Dania, FL.
